What we see in the salon

We use these products on clients' hair after every treatment in our salon on St Kilda Rd. This is what we notice.

This is what we see in the salon, not a lab test.

  • Clients on a salt-free routine usually get the full time from their treatment: 4–6 months for Keratin and Plex Nanoplasty, up to 3 for Express Smoothing, 6+ for Ultimate Fusion.
  • Clients who switch to an ordinary supermarket shampoo often come back for a redo sooner.
  • Without a gentle salt-free wash, frizz tends to creep back earlier.

How to use it

  1. Shampoo, every wash Work a small amount into wet roots, massage, then rinse with lukewarm water.
  2. Mask, once or twice a week After shampooing, apply the mask. Leave it for 3–5 minutes, then rinse.
  3. Conditioner, every wash Smooth through the mid-lengths and ends. Leave for 3–5 minutes, then rinse with cool water.
  4. Nutri Serum, any time A few drops on frizz, flyaways and dry ends.

What's in it

  • Clear and sea-green spheres joined like a molecule, representing amino acids

    Amino acids

    The small building blocks that proteins like keratin are made from. They're tiny and attract water, so they help hair hold on to moisture and feel soft, especially after straightening and heat styling.

  • Argan nuts and a small dish of argan oil

    Argan oil

    Pressed from the kernels of the argan tree, which grows in south-western Morocco. It's rich in fatty acids and vitamin E. It softens hair, smooths the surface of each strand to calm frizz, and adds shine without weighing hair down.

  • A glass dish of clear, silky serum with a few droplets

    Light silicones

    Coat the hair in a thin, light layer that smooths frizz, adds shine and helps shield it from styling heat. They wash out with shampoo.

Not tested on animals. The shampoo, conditioner and mask are vegan formulas.

Questions

Which shampoo should I use after keratin or nanoplasty?

A sodium chloride (salt) free one. Pure Hydration and Deep Fortifying are both salt-free, so choose your main range by hair type.

Is it the same formula as the full sizes?

Yes. The same formulas as our full-size bottles, in travel sizes.

Can I take it on a plane?

Yes. Every bottle is under 100 ml. On international flights, put them in your clear bag of liquids at security.

Is this included with my treatment?

No. Take-home products aren't included with any treatment, including Ultimate Fusion. You can buy them here or pick them up at your appointment.

I had my treatment at another salon. Can I use it?

Yes. It suits hair after any keratin or smoothing treatment. If you're not sure what treatment you had, text us a photo of your hair and we'll advise.

Can I wash or swim straight after my treatment?

Yes. There's no waiting time after any Terreamer treatment.
